Birdeatsbaby are far from your average rock band. Incorporating a varied collection of influences, the band combine piano-lead power-pop with orchestral and melodic rock, resulting in something that sounds hauntingly original and delicate.

After forming in 2008 the band became quickly became known for their theatrical and visual live appearances, and their infamous music videos. The most well known being ‘The Trouble’ (directed by Philippa Bloomfield) which has since gained over 150,000 views on YouTube and been shown at many film events across the UK.

In 2010 the band released the cathartic ‘Bigger Teeth’ EP (produced by Marc R Norris of 80s Matchbox B-line Disaster) and played a string of shows across the UK and Europe.

Their most recent album ‘Feast of Hammers’ (produced by Jason Rubal), was released in 2012 and followed up with an extensive tour of America and Europe. During this time the band were hailed as the ‘sound of 2012’, by Simon Price from The Independent, as well as a glowing review of their current album in the newspaper. Ben Graham from The Quietus also described them as “dark, sexual, vulnerable yet strong… like all the best bands”. Tom Robinson from BBC6 Music interviewed the band twice on his introducing show and has continued to play their music on the air.
A collection of cult-like fans follow them to live shows across the globe, proving that Birdeatsbaby are a band that happen once in a lifetime, and have something that all music enthusiasts can enjoy across the genres. Let the music speak for itself.

I Best Coast sono un gruppo musicale di Los Angeles, formatosi nel 2009. Il gruppo è composto dal duo Bethany Cosentino (voce e chitarra) e Bobb Bruno (strumenti vari), con diversi batteristi che hanno collaborato con il duo durante l'esibizioni dal vivo, in particolare l'ex batterista delle Vivian Girls Ali Koehler.
La musica della band è spesso categorizzata sotto i generi del garage rock, surf pop e lo-fi.
Best Coast have unveiled a new song called 'I Don't Know How', which is taken from their forthcoming mini-album 'Fade Away'. 
The mini-album will be the first release on Best Coast frontwoman Bethany Cosentino's own Jewel City label, and is a primer for the band's third album. 
Best Coast are due to start recording the follow-up to 2012's second LP 'The Only Place' this November ahead of a spring 2014 release.

Chvrches (pronounced as "churches", sometimes stylized as CHVRCHES or CHVRCH?S) are a Scottish synthpop band from Glasgow, formed in 2011. The group consists of Lauren Mayberry (lead vocals, additional synthesizers and samplers), Iain Cook (synthesizers, guitar, bass, vocals), and Martin Doherty (synthesizers, samplers, vocals).[1]

Chvrches came fifth on the BBC's Sound of 2013 list of the most promising new music talent.[2] In March 2013 they released Recover EP. Their debut studio album The Bones of What You Believe was released on 20 September 2013.

LA pairing Boardwalk lie somewhere between Big Deal and Beach House with their lo-fi guitars and hazy vocals due to get teenage knickers in a twist as their debut LP release approaches. 

The reason for this? Boardwalk – formed just last summer – know how to sex up dream-pop. On ‘Crying’, Amber Quintero’s lethargic, come-back-to-bed vocals effortlessly climb over Mike Edge’s muted garage-rock guitars. Slow tempos and floaty guitar solos are the ideal soundtrack to a Sunday morning spent with a sore head, with simple rhymes ensuring you’ll be pressing the repeat button.

Boardwalk’s self-titled debut album is out on 15 October via Stone Throw Records.

Born in London and raised in Christiania (the part of Copenhagen known for its squats, punk and liberal outlook on life) Mercedes was thrown into the creative community from an early age. With an anything-but-normal childhood, soundtracked by Neneh Cherry, David Bowie and Old Dirty Bastard; she even had Lauryn Hill freestyle about her hair and kept friends with imaginary pirates, all before discovering her love for singing in Alex James' studio.

Fast-forward to today and Mercedes has come to represent the feel-good factors of the 80s mixed with a contemporary urban spirit. Working with producers like Tim Powell (Girls Aloud, Sugababes), MNEK (Rudimental, A*M*E*), Dimitri Tokovoi (Placebo, Goldfrapp), Cores (Professor Green), Si Hulbert (Ed Sheeran, Ceelo Green), Nextmen, Kill the Noise and Breakage, MERCEDES is ready to take on the world.

D E N A, a Berlin popstar unlike any other, is the natural extension from this sudden turn of events. But rather than seemingly cuddling up next to trends, the Bulgarian-born, Berlin-residing singer is capable of turning hip-hop beats and R&B synths inside out, where they’re no longer recognisable to their former selves. 
And best of all she spits tons of attitude, especially in the recent video for ‘Cash, Diamond Rings, Swimming Pools’, which, while bereft of appeal to those who still aren’t able to use the word “swag” in everyday conversation, is resplendent in cool.
Bulgarian oddball pop specialist DENA has returned with a new track; the super exclusive 'Guest List'.

 A riposte on self-fulfilling party culture - "this is how it's always been / this is how it is" - the track comes alongside a video of local guests attending nights dressed all suited and booted. DENA meanwhile keeps it real by spitting rhymes on rooftops and hanging out on horse-drawn carriages.

 The new single backs up the newcomer's similarly cut-throat, sample-filled approach with 'Thin Rope' and 'Playing Games'. With giddy songs fit to burst; she's quickly making a name for herself, is DENA.

Another fine breed out of Hamburg's vibrant music scene: The JUJUJUs. The girl trio just released a new single on the great Minina Music label. That is quite the accomplishment, as none of the three do actually play an instrument. However, in these modern times you don't even need to. Their nine-piece rhythm and percussion set (designed for children) is doing the work for them, and the handy girls also MacGyver'd their own instruments out of lunch boxes and such.
